This stainless steel chiffney is designed to have the front of the bit with the groove in the horses mouth and then the back metal surrounds their bottom jaw. The rings either side attach to a sliphead and the ring at the back is for attaching a lead. This bit is not for riding but is extrememly useful in leading difficult, strong horses that are likely to rear. These are a standard size suitable for yearlings and full size horses
