Berney Leather Hock Boots

Berney’s handmade hock boots are made with our most premium cow hide and have a wool lining. They are a great fit that accomodates the shape of the hock and can be worn for long periods of time without slipping or chaffing. These boots offer maximum protection for stable wear or travelling. Along the inside of the top elasticated strap there is a cushioned rim that provides extra comfort but also prevents the boots from slipping down over the hock. The elastic allows the horse a bit of give when they are flexing the hock joint. The bottom strap is fastened slightly looser allowing the horse full movement but also preventing the boot from flipping upwards. Each of the straps is fitted with a roller buckle which makes the boots quick and easy to fasten. The area covering the hock has extra padding to give the most protection to the hock. These boots come in a standard size but they have holes for adjustment.
